[Shopping Safety] What should I do if I am notified of unknown critical account information changes or login attempts?

To help keep your account safe, Shopee will notify you of any changes in critical account information and any login activity from your account that originates from an unrecognized device or location. 

 

If you receive an in-app notification about critical information changes for your account or "New Login Alert" that were not made by you, please change your account password immediately, But if the changes were made by you, no action is required. 

 

🔸 You might receive such alerts when:

 

🔹 Changes are made to important details of your Shopee account, such as password, phone number, and email address.

🔹 You log in for the first time on a new device, browser, or location.

🔹 You log in while using your browser’s incognito or private browsing mode.

🔹 You log in after clearing your browser’s cookies.

🔹 Someone else is trying to access your account.
